'This land will become your graveyard': Iranian official issues fiery warning to US forces

A senior Iranian official has issued a stark warning to the United States, declaring that any American ground forces attempting to enter Iran will be met with an inferno that will serve as a lasting lesson for all adversaries.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at an anti-Zionist rally in Sanandaj's Azadi Square, Mohammad Panah, the secretary of the Kurdistan Province Drug Control Coordination Council, delivered a fiery response to recent threats by the US president Donald Trump regarding the deployment of ground troops.

'Ready to welcome them'

"We are ready to welcome them," Panah declared, "and we will certainly turn their point of entry into a hell that will be a lesson for everyone."

The official emphasized the preparedness of Iran's ground forces, stating that the nation's brave soldiers have spent years honing their skills for ground combat against global arrogance and the usurping Zionist regime.

"The lion-hearted men of our ground forces have prepared themselves for years for hand-to-hand and ground combat with global arrogance and the usurping Zionist regime," he said. "We will showcase the combat tactics that we have tested for years through various military exercises."

'A delusion to think ground invasion will change outcome'

Panah dismissed any notion that a ground invasion could compensate for America's failures in other arenas, referencing the eight years of Sacred Defense during the Iran-Iraq War and the country's current military capabilities.

"They foolishly think that by deploying ground forces they can compensate for their defeat in aerial battles," he stated. "What a false delusion. Our Iran is the land of lions, the brave, and the courageous."

'National unity, economic resistance key to security'

Addressing the rally, Panah highlighted this year's slogan of "National Unity, National Security, and Resistance Economy," describing these three elements as fundamental to strengthening internal capacity and safeguarding the country.

He noted that the concept of resistance economy, first emphasized by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution years ago, has become increasingly vital today as a model for reducing economic vulnerability and enhancing domestic strength.

"Economy is one of the most important pillars of national security," Panah explained, adding that strengthening internal capacities, social cohesion, and cooperation among various groups and denominations can pave the way for sustainable security.

'We are the nation of Imam Hussein'

The official paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Iranian people throughout the nation's history, emphasizing the enduring spirit of solidarity and commitment to national and religious values.

Drawing inspiration from the words of martyred Quds Force commander General Qassem Soleimani and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Panah underscored the deep-rooted faith of the Iranian nation.

"As General Soleimani, the martyr of the Quds cause, said: 'We are the nation of Imam Hussein (PBUH),'" Panah recalled. "And the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated that Kurdistan is the land of silent mujahideen. We will continue this struggle. We are the sons of this land, and we will persist until we lay the enemy low in humiliation."

He further noted that the Iranian nation has been raised in the school of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and the school of the Messenger of Allah, where martyrdom is regarded as an honor.

'National cohesion on display'

Panah concluded by expressing gratitude for the presence of scholars and officials at the rally, emphasizing the need to continue unity, cooperation, and collective effort for the advancement of the country's goals.

He highlighted the active participation of the people across the nation, including the city of Sanandaj, as evidence of the cohesion and national solidarity that serves to strengthen the country's authority.
