Hawzah News Agency- Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the event, Hojatoleslam Seyyed Yousef Mousavi, head of the Applied Quranic Research Department, outlined the scientific and research-oriented activities featured at the exhibition.
He noted that five specialized booths have been established to present recent findings across diverse academic themes, offering visitors insight into the evolving landscape of Quranic scholarship.
Focus on Quranic Thought of Ayatollah Khamenei
According to Mousavi, one of the main sections is dedicated to the Quranic thought of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
This booth presents key outcomes of academic conferences examining his Quranic perspectives, including:
- His Quran-related writings
- A 10-volume exegesis attributed to his scholarly contributions
- Over 3,000 academic papers submitted to related congresses
These papers have been compiled into 45 published volumes, with plans to expand the collection to 79 volumes in the future. A dedicated digital archive of these articles, along with selected theses and dissertations, is also available for visitors.
Scientific Miracles of the Quran
Another section explores the concept of Quranic inimitability, examining literary, rhetorical, scientific, astronomical, and cosmological dimensions.
Nearly 50 books and academic theses from various institutions have been gathered to illustrate ongoing research into the Quran’s multifaceted interpretive frameworks.
Interdisciplinary Quranic Studies
A third booth highlights interdisciplinary approaches to Quranic studies, presenting more than 67 academic fields and specializations that intersect with Quranic research.
These include emerging connections with the humanities, social sciences, and technological disciplines.
Contemporary Quranic Discourse
Addressing modern intellectual challenges, a separate section focuses on new Quran-centered discussions, including:
- Quranic civilization theory
- The scientific authority of the Quran
- Philosophy of Hadith
- The relationship between the Quran and artificial intelligence
Works produced by seminary-based Quranic research associations, alongside studies by Western scholars of Islam, are also on display.
Visualizing the Quran
The fifth booth features Quranic infographics, presenting themes and verses through visually engaging artistic formats designed to appeal to younger audiences and enhance conceptual understanding.
A Hub for Researchers
Hojatoleslam Mousavi emphasized that the exhibition has brought together nearly 440 research works from 67 academic and research centers across the country.
Due to the volume of scholarship produced nationwide, only a selection could be displayed.
He described the section as a key destination for researchers, Quranic scholars, and intellectuals seeking access to the latest academic developments in contemporary Quranic studies.
The exhibition continues to serve as a platform for bridging traditional religious scholarship with modern research methodologies and emerging global conversations.
