Hawzah News Agency- The event was organized by the Shia Sharia Association of Jammu and Kashmir at the Bab-ul-Ilm Seminary and was attended by clerics, academics, graduates, and students. Participants highlighted the Revolution’s enduring influence and expressed solidarity with the Islamic Republic.
Speakers at the gathering examined various dimensions of the Islamic Revolution and the role of its founder, Imam Khomeini, describing the movement as a transformative force that reshaped political and religious dynamics in the region and beyond.
They said that contrary to the expectations of the United States and the Israeli regime, Iran has not become isolated or weakened. Instead, they pointed to the significant achievements in political, economic, scientific, and defense fields despite decades of sanctions and external pressure.
According to the speakers, these developments reflect the strength of what they termed Quranic leadership and sustained popular support, which they said have neutralized repeated attempts to undermine the Islamic Republic.
Hojatoleslam Seyyed Hassan Mousavi, head of the Shia Sharia Association of Jammu and Kashmir, said in his address that the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has not only safeguarded Iran but also reinforced what is known as the axis of resistance across the region.
“Today, Iran has become a symbol of resilience in scientific advancement, defensive capability, regional influence, and ideological steadfastness,” he said, adding that Washington and Tel Aviv have repeatedly failed in efforts to force Tehran into retreat.
Mousavi argued that the policy of resistance, rather than compromise, has proven effective in preserving national dignity and strategic depth.
He further described the Islamic Revolution as a living and ongoing movement rather than a mere historical anniversary, calling it a prelude to the realization of broader religious aspirations in the Muslim world.
“The world today stands divided between the camp of oppression and arrogance and the camp of resistance and truth,” he said, asserting that neutrality in the face of injustice is no longer tenable.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, organizers reiterated their allegiance to the leadership of the Islamic Republic and renewed their intellectual and moral bond with Iran.
Participants said their large turnout and active engagement reflected a conscious commitment to what they view as a just cause, emphasizing that they see themselves not as passive observers of history but as part of an ongoing movement.
The ceremony in Jammu and Kashmir was one of numerous events held outside Iran to mark the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, underscoring its continued resonance among segments of the Muslim world nearly five decades after its victory.
