Hawzah News Agency- Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, a member of the Supreme Political Council, framed the Palestinian issue as "one of the most prominent contemporary causes with which the world interacts'', describing it as a pivotal and central cause for the nation, carrying humanitarian, political, and moral dimensions that transcend geography and borders.
He emphasized that Yemen's position stems from a "deep-rooted moral and humanitarian commitment'', aligned with the religious values, humanitarian principles, and principled stances of the Yemeni people, standing alongside the Palestinian people of Gaza against aggression and siege.
Echoing this, Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Abdullah Al-Sabri stated that the symposium reaffirmed Yemen's "fixed and supportive stance for the Palestinian cause'', its rejection of all forms of normalization and concession, and its commitment to supporting the just rights of the Palestinian people.
He asserted that the Palestinian cause would remain at the forefront of Yemen's political and diplomatic priorities, serving as a "moral and humanitarian benchmark that reveals the truth of international positions and exposes the double standards governing some powers' approach to the causes of oppressed peoples''.
Moaz Abu Shanala, the Hamas representative in Yemen, highlighted the Palestinian people's two-year-long "continuous verses of steadfastness and sacrifice" without breaking. He stressed that the "will of the resistance remains present despite all forms of aggression, siege, and political pressure''.
Abu Shanala affirmed that the conflict with the Zionist enemy continues until the full restoration of Palestinian rights, noting that "all arrangements the enemy attempts to impose in the final phase are doomed to failure" as they ignore the core of the conflict and contradict the Palestinian people's right to their land and dignity.
He criticized "continuous American political blackmail against the Palestinian people," arguing that the exploitation of humanitarian crossings and civilian suffering represents a marketing of the Zionist condition which acts as an entity above international law, amidst international silence and complicity.
The Hamas representative pointed to the "courageous and distinguished Yemeni position" as one that "compels the nation to reorder its priorities and place the Palestinian cause in its natural position as the central cause of the nation'', away from attempts at marginalization or distraction with secondary issues.
He highly valued the positions of the Yemeni people and Ansarullah, extending thanks to its leadership, headed by the leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi. Abu Shanala emphasized that this stance reflects a "profound understanding of the nature of the conflict with the Zionist enemy and a practical, conscious movement to confront it on both political and moral levels''.
Yemen has seen repeated large-scale rallies in recent months amid heightened regional tensions linked to the war in Gaza. Political and religious groups aligned with the de facto authorities in Sana'a have regularly framed public mobilization as a means of expressing solidarity with Palestinians and opposition to US and Israeli policies in the Middle East.
Millions of Yemenis flooded the streets of Sana'a and other major cities on Friday afternoon, answering a call from the leader of the revolution to support the Palestinian people and confront the "Zionist-American tyranny''.
The rally, one of the largest in recent memory, came just hours after a televised address by Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, who urged the nation to "answer the call of Palestine" and reignite mass mobilization for Gaza.
