Hawzah News Agency- According to the center’s correspondent in Qom, the meetings were attended by Sheikh Hassan Al-Mansouri, Advisor to the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain for Quranic Affairs. Discussions focused on the key themes of the upcoming forum, a review of the campaign’s programs, and an exchange of views on recent developments in Quranic activities at the international level.
As part of efforts to strengthen academic coordination, a delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain visited the office of His Eminence Hujjat Al-Islam Sayed Jawad Al-Shahristani, representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Sayed Ali Al-Sistani. The delegation briefed him on the ongoing preparations for activating International Quran Day and presented an overview of the center’s most prominent Quranic projects.
In a related visit, Mr. Muntadar Al-Mansouri, Director of the International Quranic Preaching Center, accompanied by Sheikh Dr. Saleh Al-Wa’eli, Head of the Al-Dalil Foundation for Research and Studies, met with His Eminence Ayatollah Sayed Riyad Al-Hakim. During the meeting, they reviewed the Holy Shrine’s Quranic initiatives, particularly the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Quran Project and the International Quran Day Project. They also extended a formal invitation to His Eminence to participate and deliver a speech at the Second International Quran Day Forum, which the center is organizing in cooperation with the Al-Dalil Foundation in Qom.
Additionally, the Qom Branch of the International Quranic Preaching Center received His Eminence Sayed Muhammad Sadiq Al-Khorasani, who was briefed on the international Quranic projects supervised by the center, including the Holy Quran of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) utilizing QR technology. His Eminence expressed his appreciation and blessing for the efforts to launch International Quran Day and prayed for continued success and divine guidance for those involved. At the conclusion of the visit, he presented several of his recent scholarly publications.
