Hawzah News Agency- In a statement, Hojatoleslam Syed Shahanshah Hussain Naqvi, head of the Jafariya Alliance of Pakistan, strongly condemned the assassination, describing the act as deeply distressing and a matter of serious concern.
Naqvi urged the country’s security agencies to swiftly identify and apprehend the perpetrators to prevent a further escalation of violence.
He noted that while Shia media outlets continue to face pressure and legal challenges, targeted killings of Shia citizens have once again resurfaced across Pakistan. He warned that these attacks amount to a renewed campaign of violence against the community.
The Jafariya Alliance chief stressed that the assassination of Shabbir Qasim is part of an organized plot aimed at undermining security and stability in Pakistan. He called on state institutions to immediately prosecute those involved in the killing of Shia citizens and their supporters.
Over the past month, three Shia citizens have been assassinated in coordinated attacks, underscoring the urgent need for decisive action by security authorities.
