Hawzah News Agency- Hezbollah bloc stated in a statement read after a meeting led by MP Hasan Ezzeddine that “the American efforts to tighten the financial siege on Lebanon to prevent reconstruction and extort its people and state are condemned and rejected. Any response to this guardianship is a renunciation of sovereignty, a stab in the constitution, a violation of laws, and a threat to stability''.
The text of the statement:
The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc held its periodic meeting on November 13, 2024, under the chairmanship of MP Mohammad Raad, and discussed several political and parliamentary issues related to Lebanon, Palestine, and the region.
The bloc paid tribute to the spirits of the martyrs on the occasion of Hezbollah’s Martyr’s Day, renewing its commitment to continue the path of resistance and defending Lebanon’s sovereignty.
The statement emphasized the importance of the state’s responsibility to protect its citizens and condemned the Israeli enemy’s continued aggression against Lebanon, which requires exerting every effort to enforce ceasefire measures and hold the enemy accountable.
The bloc also condemned the American efforts to tighten the financial siege on Lebanon, which aims to prevent reconstruction and extort its people and state, and considered any response to this guardianship as a renunciation of sovereignty and a threat to stability.
