Hawzah News Agency- The pavilion, organized from November 5 to 10, was also held in recognition of the long-standing academic cooperation between the Iranian Cultural House and the university.
Mazhar Asef, President of Jamia Millia Islamia, formally opened the pavilion and toured its sections alongside the deans of various faculties. Fariduddin Farid-Asr, head of the Cultural Affairs Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi, and Ghahraman Soleimani, Director of the Persian Research Center in India, also visited the pavilion and the wider festival complex.
The Iranology Pavilion featured a diverse display of Iranian literary, artistic, and handicraft works, including notable publications on Persian literature and traditional arts such as enameling, inlay, and pottery. Informational materials on Iran’s rich history and cultural heritage were also made available to attendees.
The exhibition attracted significant interest from professors, students, and visitors.
In addition to the university festivities, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium hosted the annual Cultural Exhibition and Diplomatic Charity Bazaar, showcasing the culture and arts of various nations while raising support for families in need.
