Seminary Official Says Zionist Hostility Toward Islam “Rooted in Centuries of Confrontation”

The director of the Bijar Seminary School, Hojatoleslam Seyyed Musa Mahmoudi, said in an interview with Hawzah News Agency in Sanandaj that, in his view, hostility from Zionist groups toward the Islamic world has deep historical roots and continues in new forms today.

Hawzah News Agency- Mahmoudi stated that the enemies of the Islamic world have intensified their political and cultural campaigns, employing increasingly complex methods. He said that the Islamic Revolution is currently being targeted “on multiple fronts, simultaneously and in a coordinated manner.”

According to the seminary director, one of the most critical fronts is the cultural arena, where he said adversaries are attempting to influence the thoughts and identity of Iranian youth. He argued that this cultural pressure is part of a broader hybrid war designed to offset what he described as the enemy’s “significant defeat” during the recent 12-day conflict.

Mahmoudi added that the United States and certain regional governments continue to support the Zionist regime in its efforts, both militarily and culturally.

Pointing to what he described as the long-standing nature of this confrontation, Mahmoudi claimed that tensions between Zionist groups and the Islamic world extend back more than fourteen centuries. He asserted that, from the early days of Islam, opponents sought to undermine the mission of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but that, according to Islamic tradition, their efforts ultimately failed due to the Prophet’s wisdom and divine support.
