In an interview with Hawzah News Agency in Khorramabad, Hojatoleslam Seyyed Abdullah Ghadami congratulated the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and Iranian Nurses’ Day, highlighting her pivotal role in preserving and continuing the Ashura movement.
He said Hazrat Zainab (PBUH), through her wisdom, leadership, and extraordinary patience, immortalized the message of Imam Hussein’s (PBUH) uprising and transformed it into a global movement of resistance against oppression.
Crisis Management and Protection of the Imamate
Hojatoleslam Ghadami noted that after the tragedy of Ashura, Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) assumed responsibility for guiding and protecting the survivors under the most difficult conditions. With her exceptional foresight and spiritual strength, she safeguarded the continuity of the Imamate and ensured the completion of Imam Hussein’s (PBUH) mission.
Conveying the Message of Ashura
Referring to Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) as the voice of Karbala, he said her powerful sermons in Kufa and the Levant exposed the tyranny of Yazid’s regime and revealed the truth behind the tragedy of Karbala. Her courage, he added, destroyed attempts to distort history and carried the message of Ashura to the world.

Emphasizing her role as a symbol of steadfast faith, Ghadami said Hazrat Zainab’s (PBUH) patience was not passive endurance but a form of active and hope-giving resistance. “She proved that patience does not mean surrender,” he said. “It paves the way for a greater movement.” Her profound statement — ‘I saw nothing but beauty’ — reflected a vision of divine victory and inspired generations with hope and resilience.

The seminary professor further underlined Hazrat Zainab’s (PBUH) role in confronting the propaganda of the Umayyad regime. Through eloquence, insight, and unwavering faith, she clarified the truth of Ashura and safeguarded the values of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH).
