Hawzah News Agency- On the occasion of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the mujahid of Islam and fighter of truth, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, ceremonies were held across India with wide public participation. Mourning gatherings, religious circles, condolence sessions, and online programs were organized in various cities, during which scholars and social figures paid tribute to the martyr’s legacy and revolutionary path.
In this context, the Hadana Organization held a special webinar, which drew participants from different parts of the country. Scholars underlined the importance of transmitting Martyr Nasrallah’s life lessons and resistance-oriented character to the younger generation.
Hojatoleslam Munawar Ali, Friday Prayer Leader of Hyderabad, highlighted the lofty status of martyrdom, noting: “Every good deed has value, but no good deed surpasses the position of martyrdom.” He added that Zionist plots and conspiracies are destined to fail before divine will and planning.
Hojatoleslam Seyyed Mohammad Fayyaz Baqir, Friday Prayer Leader of Mumbai, emphasized the slogan “I am on the Covenant,” describing it as a reminder of believers’ eternal bond with God. He said: “The enemies of truth are still afraid of Martyr Nasrallah’s message and school even after his martyrdom. Their attempts to erase his memory by removing his images and statements from media platforms are doomed to failure.”
Also addressing the webinar, Hojatoleslam Akhtar Abbas Jun, a prominent scholar from Lucknow who spoke online from Medina, cited the Quranic verse: “Those who are most merciful among them are most severe against the infidels.” He described Martyr Nasrallah as a clear embodiment of this verse.
Recalling his meetings with the martyr, he stressed that true felicity lies in companionship with the Messenger of God (PBUH), the Ahlul Bayt (AS), and the martyrs of the path of truth, who give meaning to this companionship with their sacrifice.
