Hawzah News Agency – In an exclusive interview with Hawzah News Agency, Ayatollah Kabi praised the national unity and resistance demonstrated during the recent 12-day war, noting that the cohesion of the Iranian people across all sectors and classes came as a surprise to the enemies.
“The enemy did not anticipate such unity,” he said. “From all levels of society, people stood shoulder to shoulder against the Zionist regime. This unity is a vital source of strength for the continued success of the Islamic Revolution.”
The Iron Will of the Iranian Nation
Ayatollah Kabi described the Iranian nation as “resilient, patient, and unshakable,” stating that this spirit has led to historic victories over both the Zionist regime and the United States.
“The enemy can in no way break the iron will of this honorable and powerful nation,” he asserted. “The Iranian nation has stood proud in every chapter of the Islamic Revolution and will resolutely punish any aggressor.”
Clergy on the Front Lines of Resistance
Highlighting the role of religious scholars, Ayatollah Kabi said that clerics and seminary students were actively engaged during the recent conflict, contributing both through propagation and explanation, and by working to ensure the security of the people, particularly through mosques and religious institutions.
“The clergy acted in a jihadist manner,” he said, “and remain on the front lines in defending Islam and the people.”
Post-War Responsibilities: Unity and Explanation
Looking to the future, Ayatollah Kabi called on the clergy, academic elites, and officials to preserve and strengthen national unity. He emphasized that the “jihad of explanation” — educating the public and exposing enemy plots — is the primary responsibility of the religious class in the post-war period.
“No issue should overshadow the unity of the nation,” he warned. “Clerics must help neutralize the enemy’s efforts to create division and unrest, and guide the people by aligning with the commands of the Guardian of the Muslims of the world.”
