Hawzah News Agency- In a sermon delivered at the Ahl al-Bayt Mosque in the Soghanliq district of Tbilisi, Hujjat al-Islam Haj Rahid Karim, the Friday prayer leader, declared that the Iranian nation, under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has become a source of pride for Shiites and all Muslims worldwide.
Quoting the Supreme Leader’s statement—"We are oppressed, but not weak"—Karim said the world is currently witnessing a battle between two distinct fronts: “On one side stand the Zionists, and on the other, the Muslims. On one side are the builders of the fortress of Khyber, and on the other, the conquerors of Khyber.”
He emphasized that Iran has demonstrated unmatched resolve, stating, “We are proud that a Muslim nation has stood up to Israel and restored dignity to the Islamic world. Ayatollah Khamenei is the embodiment of our honor and strength. Where else do we see a country willing to confront the Zionist regime so directly?”
Karim also criticized nationalism, asserting that true divine reward is based on piety, not ethnicity. “Whether Persian or Arab, God's favor is for the righteous. Today, Muslims from every nation and race must unite for the honor of Islam.”
Addressing the role of media and public awareness, he called on Muslims to engage actively in cyberspace. “This is a two-front war—both on the ground and online. The infidel front is fully engaged. It is our duty to counter their narrative, to pray, to speak, to act. Iran’s bold response to Israel fulfilled the long-held hope of many Muslims.”
Marneuli Imam Echoes Support
Meanwhile, in the city of Marneuli, Hujjat al-Islam Haji Hajiev, Friday Imam of the Imam Ali (PBUH) Mosque, also condemned the Zionist regime's attacks on Iran, labeling them a blatant violation of international law and the sovereignty of Islamic countries.
“The Iranian people, led by the wise and courageous Ayatollah Khamenei, are standing firm against the global forces of disbelief,” Hajiev said. “This act of resistance is a clear demonstration of the greatness of the Islamic Ummah.”
Both leaders concluded with calls for Muslim unity and solidarity, encouraging believers around the world to stand with Iran in the face of continued aggression and injustice.
