Hawzah News Agency- In an interview, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Pourmottaqi, a specialized missionary for the cultural office of the Islamic propaganda office of Qom Seminary, and a football referee, spoke about his sports propaganda activities.
He stated, "In recent years, the Iranian football schools have become one of the most talked-about subjects in the field of sports, but many families have concerns about moral, social, and behavioral harms in such schools. The lack of close supervision, the lack of documented educational programs, and the focus solely on technical skills have caused football to turn from a healthy educational platform into an environment that sometimes exacerbates moral and behavioral problems."
Referring to the challenges in the country's football schools, the football referee noted, "In such circumstances, the "Martyr Ebrahim Hadi Cultural Education Academy" has been established with a different purpose. This academy, which was established at the initiative of Mohammad Ali Alemani, an international football assistant referee and a senior expert in sports management, offers a combination of football and moral education in a targeted and indirect manner.”
This active missionary emphasized, "This academy is not just a football school, but a structured and progressing movement towards creating a new generation of footballers; a generation that not only acquires athletic skills, but also is on the path to personal and ethical growth."
He continued, "With the support of prominent figures such as Mohammad Ansari, former player of Iran’s national team and Persepolis club, and Hooman Afazeli, former coach of the national team and with a history of more than 15 years in cultural activities, we have established the country's first football school that focuses on the cultural and behavioral education of players."
