Hawzah News Agency- In a statement, the Chairman of the Pakistan Shia Ulema Council Hujjat al-Islam Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has made some remarks on the occasion of the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Hussain (PBUH), “Imam Hussain Birth Anniversary is a day for humanity to rejoice, since he is not only an Islamic figure, but also a global hero who taught the path of freedom to all human beings.”

The Pakistani cleric further emphasized that Imam Hussain (PBUH) commenced a movement that went on to become a beacon of guidance for all freedom-seekers in history; “Justice-seeking and liberation movements around the world have learned the lesson of perseverance and resistance from Imam Hussain’s uprising.” He noted.

This prominent Pakistani scholar stated, "When the justice seekers and fighters of history were looking for a perfect model for their movements, they did not find any figure more superior than Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). Inspired by his character and perseverance, they walked the path of truth and achieved victory."
