Hawzah News Agency- the Head of the Quranic Educational Center of Al-Mustafa International University Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Rezaei Isfahani delivered a speech at the international conference of directors of Islamic studies centers held on Saturday in Sheikh Mofid Hall of Qom University. He referred to the Quranic advances after the Islamic Revolution, saying,” Among the most prominent activities carried out after the Islamic Revolution has been the establishment of numerous disciplines and courses related to the Holy Quran in the fields of Quranic studies, Quran and Hadith, Quranic sciences and teachings, Quranic memorization and teachings, and training Quranic instructors.”
The head of the Higher Educational Center of Al-Mustafa International University further noted,” The scientific activities carried out played a significant role in the development of Quranic culture in Iran.”
Referring to the importance of research activities, he said, "Among the research activities after the revolution is the writing of an encyclopedia in the Quran Museum; the presentation of numerous specialized Quranic interpretations has also played a key role in the development of this holy book."
The head of the Higher Education Center for Quran and Hadith of Al-Mustafa University added that following the 1979 Islamic revolution, the translation of the Holy Quran into different languages was of great interest, so much so that 40 new translations of the Quran in 18 languages were published and presented after the Islamic Revolution."
"The scientific authority of the Holy Quran has also been considered, and about 15,000 theses centered on the Holy Quran have been defended at master's and doctoral levels; attention to philosophical discussions has been another important topic regarding the Holy Quran."
