Hawzah News Agency- in the first session of the ninth term of the Supreme Council of Seminaries, Ayatollah Mohammad Mehdi Shabzendehdar was unanimously elected as First Secretary and Ayatollah Javad Marvi as Second Secretary of the ninth term of this council, and Ayatollah Alireza Arafi was also retained in his position as Director of Iran’s Islamic Seminaries.

The council members, elected for a four-year term in late November, are tasked with overarching policy decisions for seminaries, the highest Islamic educational institutions in Iran.
