Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi considered interpretation of the Quran and Nahj al-balagha as means of cognitive warfare and stated,” We must strengthen and increase the morale of our Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian and Yemeni brothers and sisters through cultural work.”

Hawzah News Agency- In a meeting with advisor to the Supreme Leader Dr. Ali Larijani, senior cleric Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi considered creating morale and motivation in the resistance forces to be an important factor in winning the war and stated,” In numerous verses of the Holy Quran, especially the verses related to the Battle of Badr, creating morale in the Muslim forces and also creating despair and hopelessness in the ranks of enemies are considered important.”

Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi considered proximity to the Holy Quran and the Prophet's (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) the secret to victory over the enemies and stated,” Wherever we approached and adhered to the principles of the Quran and the Prophet's (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), we won, and wherever we strayed from them, we suffered.”

He considered the interpretation of the Quran and Nahj al-balagha as a means of cognitive warfare and stated,” We must strengthen the morale of our Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian and Yemeni brothers and sisters through cultural work, since those who feel that they are victorious in any situation will not understand defeat and will move forward with full strength.”

Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi further noted that these are lessons that must be given to the resistance and armed forces, both inside and outside Iran, and with these lessons, we can compensate for the shortcomings and strengthen the line of resistance.

At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Ali Larijani, advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran, presented a report on his recent trips to Syria and Lebanon and the conditions of the resistance and Lebanese refugees.
