Nigerians Mourn for Imam Hussain

As in previous years, with the beginning of the month of Muharram, the mourning ceremony of the first decade of this month was held in many Shiite areas of Nigeria, including Katsina state of Nigeria.

Hawzah News Agency- with the beginning of the month of Muharram and the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH), as in previous years, mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussain will be held by the majority of Shiites in Nigeria in all the Shiite areas of the country, including Katsina state.

On the third night of Muharram, many Shiites and supporters of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) held mourning ceremonies. Also, these ceremonies will continue in the coming nights.

It should be noted that Katsina state is one of the three most populous states in Nigeria, and many Shiites live in this region. Every year witnesses the raising of the Hosseini mourning flag in this region.
