Hawzah News Agency- In an interview with Press TV, former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said, “Iran has organized a credible and reliable presidential election; unlike, perhaps, their Democratic counterpart in the United States, Iranians have real options on the table. They have four candidates, three of whom could be called conservative in their outlook, and one could be called reformist, but each in their own way, brings something different to the table.
He highlighted that thus there is a real choice for the Iranian people regarding the future of their country.
Iran's 14th presidential election started yesterday with high voter turnout, going to runoff as Masoud Pezeshkian and Jalili came first and second respectively.
