Meeting

Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi considered the divine motivation of the students to compensate for many deficiencies and problems they face and stated,” All those involved in Al-Mustafa International University consider it an honor to provide service to the international students of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).”

Hawzah News Agency- the chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi had a meeting with the members of the African Student Union, in honor of the upcoming occasions, especially Eid al-Adha and Ghadir, said,” Al-Mustafa scholars from every region gather together for an effective collective activity for themselves, their families and the people in different cultural, social and scientific formats.”

He went on to express some of the existing capacities of student associations and unions and noted,” These capacities can be used in educational and cultural, media and scientific fields, and Al-Mustafa University will cooperate with organizations and associations in carrying out these activities to the extent of its ability.”

He considered African students to have a special position in Al-Mustafa International University and counted African students as virtuous, hard-working, and influential learners in their countries, adding,” Today, African graduates have good capacities in the region and we hope that with the continuous support of this community, the conditions for promoting the pure Islamic teachings should be provided.”

Students From 34 Countries Participate in Al-Mustafa African Students Union

At the beginning of this meeting, Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Bah, while expressing his satisfaction with the meeting with the Chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University and honoring the memory of the martyrs of service, introduced the African Student Union, saying, “This union is nearly 23 years old and currently includes nearly 700 students from 34 African countries.”

The head of the African Students' Union of Al-Mustafa University, listed the activities of this union in the form of social activities and serving students, special educational activities for students and families, cultural activities including holding ceremonies, and some artistic and media activities and explanatory cultural activities.

Hujjat al-Islam Ebrahim Bah, on behalf of the African students, raised some requests for this union in various fields of education, culture, skills, graduates and family affairs.
