Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Muhammad Sanqour, Bahrain's Friday Imam at the Imam Sadiq Mosque (peace be upon him) in Manama's al-Daraz town, said, "The request of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for a number of leaders of the usurper Israeli regime is outside the historical framework of this institution and other International institutions since they have always supported this usurper regime.”
He added,” The origin of this cowardly decision, despite its lack of seriousness and futility, was due to the pressure of the global awakening of the people and the result of the Al-Aqsa storm operation, which put the credibility of these international institutions to the test.”
Sheikh Sanqour further expressed his surprise on how the international organization equated the executioner with the victim and forgot that international intellectuals and norms have agreed that every nation whose land is occupied has the inherent right to resist the occupier in various forms.
Friday Imam of Bahrain also noted that the oppressed people of Palestine and Islamic nations do not expect justice from this institution and others. Anyone who hopes that such institutions will do justice to them is deluded and hopes for nothing but a mirage. They will not reclaim the land and rights after seeking help from God Almighty except for resistance.
Sheikh Sanqour pointed out that what contributed to the oppression of the Zionist enemy and the continuation of this oppression for more than 7 decades was the assurance that his crimes would not be prosecuted, and that, unlike all other countries and regimes, it was not prosecuted and punished.
“This regime believes that international institutions and other governments should understand its cruelty and consider it in the framework of self-defense.” He added.
Sheikh Sanqour condoled the martyrdom of Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and his companions to the Iranian nation and the supreme leader of Islamic revolution.
Friday Imam of Bahrain recalled the positions of Martyr Raisi and Hossein Amirabdollahian, his Minister of Foreign Affairs, in supporting the Palestinian people and their issue in various forums.
