The grave incident of the martyrdom of the honorable President and the beloved Friday Prayer Imam of Tabriz City, the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other companions caused pain and sorrow.

I express my condolences over this calamity to the supreme leader of the Islamic revolution and the great nation of Iran; I pray for the survivors, and ask the almighty God for the reward of martyrdom for the seekers who have reached their destination and the servants who have witnessed the goal of the request and steadfastness of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

A helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian crashed in a dense forest area in East Azarbaijan on Sunday.

The helicopter's passengers, including Ebrahim Raisi, Hossein Amir-Abdullahian, Iran's East Azerbaijan Province Governor Malek Rahmati, and Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to East Azarbaijan Province, along with several other people were martyred in the incident.
