According to the forecasts of meteorological experts, this year's Hajj pilgrims will witness heat waves, rain, and severe sandstorms in Mecca, Mina, Mash'ar al-Haram, and Mount Arafat.

Hawzah News Agency- with the approach of this year's Hajj season in the month of Dhul Hijjah, meteorological experts have warned of extremely hot weather conditions and the possibility of sandstorms in places such as Mecca, Mina, Mount Arafat, and Mashar al-Haram.

It is expected that during this year's Hajj, Mecca will witness a temperature of 45 degrees Celsius, which will make the conditions difficult for pilgrims in terms of heat. It should be noted that the temperature can increase up to 48 degrees Celsius.

Also, according to experts, we are witnessing rain, especially in the afternoon; sudden and strong winds can cause sand and dust storms, which reduce visibility for a limited period.

The Hajj authorities have asked the pilgrims to take the necessary measures in advance to take care of themselves against adverse weather conditions during the Hajj season, such as keeping the body hydrated, carrying an umbrella, paying attention to medical care, and consuming enough water, especially during the hot days of the Hajj. To avoid dehydration, if possible, stay in the shade and avoid direct sunlight, and be aware of the latest weather forecasts and any travel advisories issued by the authorities.

The meteorological center has confirmed that the authorities will carefully monitor and follow up on the latest weather warnings in all blessed places to ensure the well-being and safety of Hajj pilgrims.
