Hawzah News Agency- Senior Iranian cleric Ayatollah Mohsen Araki released a video message voicing support for the pro-Palestine protests in American and European universities. The transcript of the message is as follows:
In the Name of God—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
Dear freethinking, enlightened, and justice-seeking students of American and European universities,
The grand and sacred movement you have begun in defense of the defenseless, innocent oppressed people of Palestine, especially the children, women, and the ill who have been subjected to the most severe tortures, pressures, and deprivations by the inhumane, anti-human Zionist executioners of the illegitimate Israeli government, the lustful capitalists who have taken control of the political, economic, and media power in America and Europe through deception and trickery, is a defense of all the oppressed, suffering human beings who have been under the harshest torments, pressures, and deprivations, for decades.
For a long period, humanity across the globe has been so utterly enchained by these ruling capitalists that they see everything of their own as lost. Today's human economy is in the clutches of these economic bloodsuckers, and by this means, they have so throttled the throats of the masses all over the world that universal poverty, ignorance, and disease are dragging the majority of the world's people toward definite destruction.
Today, the security of human society is in danger by these ruling capitalists, an example of which is seen today in oppressed Palestine and the unsparing support of the American government and European governments for the countless crimes and unparalleled genocide of Israel.
The culture of human societies has declined so much using cyberspace and media that are one hundred percent at the disposal of these ruling capitalists that it has placed morality and spirituality in human society on the verge of complete annihilation.
Your great and sacred uprising is liberating against the rule of ruthless and unconscionable capitalists who are dragging the entirety of human society toward definite destruction.
I, as a member of the Supreme Council of Iranian Seminaries and as a member of the Presidium of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, on behalf of all the scholars, students, and seminarians of Islamic sciences in Iran, declare our solidarity and cooperation with you, and we hope that this sacred uprising of yours will continue to expand until it encompasses all American and European societies and will be the source of a great transformation in the near future of human society and save human society from decline and destruction.
Victory is yours because your cry is a rightful one that has the support and confirmation of God Almighty.
Continue the sacred movement you have started until you achieve all the goals you have in mind, and consider it a conscientious and human duty that will bring about the liberation of human society from suffering, poverty, insecurity, and disorder.
