Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdul Fattah Nawab, the representative of the supreme leader in matters of Hajj and Pilgrimage and the head of Iranian pilgrims, met with Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli on Friday, May 3.
In this meeting, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated that Iranian pilgrims should be the standard-bearers of the culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran and noted that Iranian pilgrims should be the standard-bearers of the culture, politeness, and dignity of Islamic Iran.
He said that both the pilgrims and the officials of the Hajj should call every Muslim to unity at the top of their work and activities in their meetings and in all their behavior and speech, so that other pilgrims feel unity from their movements and speech.
By stating that Hajj is an international program of Islam, he said,” The Quran, which is an international book, speaks in three parts: national, regional and international, and more than addresses to Muslims, the main audience of the Holy Quran is all mankind and advises that the local, regional and international society should be peaceful and Hajj as an international program of Islam should provide the opportunity to an international journey in order to spread knowledge and unity among Muslim Ummah.”
Senior cleric Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli further addressed the clerics of Hajj caravans and said,” The day of the conquest of Khyber was the day of the salvation of Muslims, which caused a lot of joy. On the same day of the conquest of Khyber, Jafar, the brother of Amir al-Momenin (PBUH), returned from exile in Abyssinia. The Holy prophet said today two pleasant events happened to me: one is that Jafar returned from Abyssinia and the other is that we conquered Khyber, I don't know which of these makes me more jubilant?! How did the Messenger of God say, I don't know which one of these I should be happy with!? The secret is that Jafar did scholarly, research and cultural work, that is, a scholar can do cultural work equivalent to the conquest of Khyber, so the clerics of Hajj caravans should know that they have an important duty and should behave in such a way as to show the glory of Islam.”
