Hawzah News Agency- the Iranian President's Science, Technology and Knowledge Base Vice President Dr. Ruhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi said in a meeting with Ayatollah Arafi that was held in the office of the head of Iran’s seminary, "The Islamic Republic has a great scientific situation.”

He pointed out that the operation True Promise had two main pillars saying,” the first pillar is to prove to the world that the Islamic Republic has indigenous science and technology in the field of defense.”

Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy further noted that the second pillar was to prove to the world that the Islamic Republic has the courage to use this science and technology in the world.”

Stating that following this operation, we are witnessing a change in the world's view of the Islamic Republic, he said,” Fortunately, last year there were positive events in the field of science and technology.”

Dehghani Firouzabadi also pointed out that last year there was a 5-fold growth in signing contracts with different companies, and noted,” Last year, knowledge-based companies managed to sell 530 billion IRR worth of sales.”

He mentioned the 6-fold growth of resources last year and said,” Last year, serious determination in the field of artificial intelligence led to the establishment of the National Artificial Intelligence Center.”
