Hawzah News Agency- the detailed message of Ayatollah Arafi, head of the Iran’s seminary, on the occasion of Nature Day and its coincidence with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Amir al-Momenin Ali, peace be upon him, is as follows:

In Iranian culture, Nature Day is a symbol of human connection with divine creatures and a reminder to respect and protect the environment, natural resources and life cycle.

Now, by benefiting from the foundations, principles and orders of Islam, we can increase the richness of this ancient culture as much as possible.

Planting saplings and creating vegetation in various ways for the development of nature, which is the cradle of life, growth and development, is one of the orders of religion.

Now, considering the coincidence of nature day with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Amir al-Momenin Ali (peace be upon him), this holiday marks the revival of nature and it is appropriate to promote the culture of nature preservation by planting trees and creating green space in these days through taking specific measures.

Also, in a symbolic and culture-building movement from the Nature Day to Eid al-Fitr, which coincides with the days of unparalleled resistance of the oppressed people of Gaza and International Quds Day, it is appropriate to plant saplings according to the climate and maintain specialized principles to convey greetings and declare solidarity, support and hope for the victory of the resistant people of Palestine.
