Hawzah News Agency- Two days International Conference on the theme “Recent Advances in Applied Chemical Sciences” was organized by the Chemistry Section, School of Sciences, Maulana Azad National Urdu University.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor presided over the inaugural session held on February 23, 2024. Prof Vijulatha Manga, Telangana Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam, Hyderabad was the chief guest and Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, was the guest of honor.
Prof Ainul Hasan in his address assured to provide more facilities to the chemistry section to enhance the research activities.
Prof Vijulatha Manga in her introductory speech highlighted on the various funding agencies in India and explain about how to get funds from these agencies. She also explained the importance of a small molecule in the treatment of human life as well. Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.
Prof Salman Ahmad Khan, Director of ICC-2024 & Dean, School of Sciences delivered the welcome address.
The conference convener Dr Qasim Ullah, Assistant Professor briefed about the conference. Dr Salahuddin Syed, Associate Professor introduced the chief guest. Ms. Samrin Kausar, research Scholar proposed the vote of thanks.
The chief guest of valedictory session Prof. Raza Ullah Khan, Director, Directorate of Distance Education in his speech emphasized for applying projects to different funding agencies. He also emphasized for applying patent to different industries.
The participants from India, Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia, US joined the conference in both offline and online mode.
More than 100 research articles were presented during the conference. Prizes were also distributed for best presentation. From oral presentation category, first and second prize were announced to Ms. Aram Rahman and Bhawana Singh, similarly Mr. Suhail Ahmed and Mr. Liyaqat Ali were nominated for first and second prize respectively for poster presentation category. Two best young scientist awards were also awarded to Mr. Md Mohasin and Mr. Zeeshan Ahamad.
