Dr. Mohammad Saeed Al-Tarihi, the chairman of this conference, said,” We have held talks about Shia heritage in India, including material heritage, religious, cultural, scientific and literary institutions, and about mosques, walls, towers, palaces, houses of science and book repositories that have rare works.”

He added,” We mentioned the intangible heritage and discussed the oral heritage including folklore (popular beliefs), rituals, values, customs, traditions and abilities.”

He pointed out that the Shia heritage present in the Indian subcontinent is a forgotten heritage and this meeting was held with the aim of paying attention to it and calling for new activities to expand and identify Indian heritage through contact with scientific and historical institutions in India.
