Hawzah News Agency- on the occasion of the passing away of Late Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi, one of the scholars of Pakistan, a commemorative ceremony was held in the evening of Wednesday January 17 in the Shabestan of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Lady Masoumeh (PBUH) Shrine.
Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi was a true religious scholar
Hujjat al-Islam Reza Ramezani, Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), pointed out the characteristics of Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi and stated,” During my trip to Pakistan, I was in his service for a few days and I observed various characteristics in the presence of this outstanding scholar. The Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi was a true religious scholar. He used his science and knowledge to guide humans and was truly a knowledgeable scholar in religion. People expect a scholar and jurist to teach them the knowledge of religion.”
He continued,” Another characteristic of Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi was his politeness, and I observed this characteristic during the days when I was in his service. This prominent scholar was a self-made man and such a person can teach religion to others and provide great social services.”
Pakistan is a brother country of Iran
The Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) added,” One of the prominent characteristics of Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi was his knowledge of Quranic verses and hadiths. This issue made this outstanding scholar succeed in education. Another feature of him is being a mujahid. Wherever necessary, he took steps to defend the school of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT). Pakistan is Iran's brother country, and when the enemies were trying to create division, Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi held meetings for unity every year and gathered religious scholars from different religions together in these meetings.”
Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani further considered Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi to be a believer in the Islamic Ummah and clarified,” When a person has the chance to live in different countries, he realizes the importance of Islamic unity since the enemies seek to divide Muslims.”
