Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Hadi Abd Khodayi, the chairman of the second international conference of Imam Reza (PBUH) and interfaith dialogue, on Wednesday, January 17 in Sheikh Tabarsi hall of the Astan Quds Razavi Research Foundation honored the martyrs, including the spiritual martyr Nawab Safavi and said,” the problem that humanity faces today is that it is involved with secularism, selfishness, ambition, some colonialists have attacked Gaza and martyred more than 8 thousand children along with their mothers.”
He further said that no conscience will rest against this crime in the world, and added,” Politicians do not do anything about this because they only care about protecting their personal interests, so those who believe in God and believe in moral values should create a movement and stand against such crimes in the world. “
Hojjat al-Islam Abd Khodayi pointed out that all divine religions have come to create peace and good morals in the society and added,” These conferences should be a prelude so that jurists and thinkers of different religions can discuss with each other and find a way to eliminate war from the world.”
At the end of his speech, he referred to collection of articles about Christianity and the truths of Islam, which was written during his time as Iran's ambassador to the Vatican, which he donated to the Astan Quds Razavi Islamic Research Foundation.
In another part of this conference, Ahmad Faramarz Qara Maleki, the head of the Astan Razavi Research Foundation, the scientific secretary of the conference, presented a report and said,” The purpose of this conference is dialogue and peaceful coexistence between the religious institutions in Iran and other countries, mutual understanding of religions in the current social contemporary challenges; the emphasis is on the role of the family.”
He stated that 34 domestic committee members and 18 international committee members participate in the second conference of Imam Reza and the Interfaith Dialogue, adding,” 140 Persian articles, and 30 Arabic and English articles will be presented in this conference, from different countries including UAE, Iraq, Syria, Belgium and Germany.”
The opening ceremony of the second international conference of Imam Reza (PBUH) and interfaith dialogue was held in the presence of seminarian and university personalities, religious leaders in Iran, researchers from different religions in Sheikh Tabarsi Hall of Astan Quds Razavi Research Foundation.
