Hawzah News Agency- Mohammad Ali Molla Hashem, the head of the Research Center for Approximation Studies at the World Forum for the Approximation of Islamic Religions, in an interview with Hawzah News correspondent on the sidelines of the exhibition of books and scientific achievements of seminary research centers in the Imam Khomeini (RA) complex of Qom, said,” The Research Institute for Approximation Studies realized the need to institutionalize research. It is expected that in the new round of its scientific activity, by improving the organizational structure, it will present authentic scientific works in line with the realization of its goals.”
In explaining the goals of establishing this research center, he said,” deepening unity and understanding among the followers of Islamic religions by highlighting the common points in Islamic texts centered on the Holy Quran and the Noble Prophetic Sunnah, comparative explanation of the existing realities of Islamic religions and introducing and presenting it to promote knowledge as well as the awareness of religious leaders, thinkers and followers of other religions and responding to common needs and doubts about the difference of opinions and religious doctrines among the followers of Islamic religions has been one of the main goals of the establishment of the Research Institute of Approximation Studies.”
Mulla Hashem continued,” The approach of the Association of Islamic Religions is the unity and approximation of religions, and in the pavilion of the Research Institute of Approximation Studies of the World Assembly of Islamic Religions, there are works related to common hadiths, the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt, comparative jurisprudence, and works related to Palestine and Gaza has been offered to the general researchers.”
Referring to the Al-Aqsa storm, the head of the Research Institute of Approximation Studies pavilion pointed out,” In the last three months, after the proud operation of the warriors of Islam in the Al-Aqsa storm, we seriously entered the issue of Palestine and presented 10 books in this field. we also answered the doubts about Gaza.”
The representative of the Research Institute of Approximation Studies added,” The book that the prime minister of the Zionist terrorist regime showed in his speech at the United Nations was the book "Palestine from the perspective of Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei" which was prepared and produced by this research institute.”
He stated,” As many as 345 book titles have been published in this research institute, of which about 15 titles are related to Palestine. The ceremony of recognition and honoring of the winners of the 40th Book of the Year Award of the Islamic Republic of Iran was held with the presence of the president in Vahdat Hall and the book Allama Al-Sheikh Al-Taskhiri's Encyclopedia of the works of the Research Institute of Approximation Studies won a special award. In 12 volumes, this book contains the collection, research and classification of the results of about 40 years of scientific and research activities of the late Ayatollah Taskhiri.
Molla Hashem concluded by saying,” We have held 70 scientific meetings so far, 40 of which were approved by the Islamic seminary and were given points.”
