Hawzah News Agency- On the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sheikh Al-Nimr, the International Foundation of Martyr Ayatollah Sheikh Al-Nimr organized a meeting titled Martyr Ayatollah Sheikh Al-Nimr, an awareness program for the nation.

A group of scholars and professors from the countries of Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, and Palestine, as well as a group of personalities, researchers, and activists, were present in this gathering that began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Dr. Rashid al-Rashid, a Bahraini political activist, while welcoming the attendees, recited Fatiha and salutations to the souls of the martyrs, especially Islamic leaders and Sheikh Al-Nimr.

In this meeting, a group of leading scholars, researchers and professors presented their research articles.

At the end of this meeting, Dr. Rashid Al-Rashid thanked and appreciated the researchers participating in this scientific and intellectual conference from the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) who were present in this ceremony.

Also, the book of this meeting of the past years and the calendar of the new year 2024, which were all decorated with the pictures of the martyr Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr (RA) were distributed among the participants. The participants in this meeting asked the researchers to write better materials for printing an independent book to be published under the title of this blessed scientific and intellectual meeting in order to benefit and expand the civilization and thought of the movement of Sheikh Seyyed al-Shuhada Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr.

It is worth mentioning that this intellectual conference on the occasion of the 8th demise anniversary of martyr jurist Ayatollah Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr (may God bless him and grant him peace) was held on Monday, January 1, at the conference hall of the Ahl al-Bayt International Complex in Qom.
