Hawzah News Agency- the annual conference of the memorizers of the Holy Quran was held along with the graduation ceremony of a number of the memorizers of Jamiat Al-Zahra University, by the efforts of Department of the Quran and Hadith, the Vice-Chancellor for Propagation and Cultural Affairs of this seminary academic institution.

In this ceremony, Hujjat al -Islam Seyyed Hossein Shafiei Darabi explained the most important requirements in the field of memorizing the Quran and stated,” the requirements in the field of memorizing the Holy Quran are divided into two categories: cognitive requirements and practical and behavioral requirements; These requirements are two-way; One of them is related to the officials, which is not our discussion at the moment; And another type of it is related to the memorizers of the Holy Quran.

Hujjat al-Islam Shafiei Darabi, referring to the history of memorizing the Holy Quran in the Prophetic era, reminded,” You are definitely familiar with the history of Holy Quran; The first memorizer of the Quran was the Messenger of God (PBUH), and the first teacher who tried to spread the memorization of the Quran was also the Messenger of God.”

At the end of this ceremony, 21 people who memorized Holy Quran, 9 of whom memorized the entire Quran, as well as professors active in the field of memorizing the Holy Quran were honored.
