Hawzah News Agency- Senior Shia scholar Ayatollah Faqihi, had an interview with Hawzah News, during which he pointed out the issue of chastity and hijab and its observance in the Islamic society; he considered the preservation of the dignity in human societies is the result of observance of the culture of chastity and hijab and said,” If the society neglects the culture of hijab and becomes indifferent towards it, this issue causes the fall of human dignity and the result is the disintegration of Islamic families, society as well as the whole community.”
By stating that hijab has a special position in the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), the member of the seminary pointed out the importance of hijab in the life and speech of Lady Zainab (PBUH) and stated,” Lady Zainab (PBUH) is inspired by the heavenly message of Holy Qur'an and according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and his Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), Lady Zainab considered hijab and chastity as precious jewels for a Muslim woman.”
The seminary professor named one of the most important issues of present society, the negligence towards the Islamic hijab, and stated,” Although many families believe in religious foundations, but if they believe in the noble life of Lady Zainab (PBUH), who is one of the best role models of the Muslim community, they will definitely reconsider their lifestyle.”

Quran says there is no compulsion in deen, but what does it mean by Deen? it means you are free to choose your own religion, but when you accept Islam, for example, as your religion, you must accept everything that this religion encompasses and hijab is one of them. and this issue is easily understandable based on the following verses. وَقُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ... وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ And tell the faithful women ... not to display their charms, and also; إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَ اللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ نُؤْمِنُ بِبَعْضٍ وَنَكْفُرُ بِبَعْضٍ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذُوا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًا Those who disbelieve in Allah and His apostles and seek to separate Allah from His apostles, and say, ‘We believe in some and disbelieve in some’ and seek to take a way in between.
