Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani considered familiarity with the interpretations of the Qur'an and Nahj al-Balagha as the most important need of missionaries. He stated, “Religious missionaries must have a very close relationship with Nahj al-Balagha. I believe no one can become a missionary without comprehensive knowledge of Nahj al-Balagha.”

Hawzah News Agency- Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani had a meeting with a group of elite seminary professors and missionaries of the Islamic Propaganda Office of Qom Seminary on Thursday, July 28 during which he considered promotion of Islam as a clear example of the revival of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) teachings and pointed out, “The holy Qur'an says there should be a group from among every nation to guide the people. They should rise up so that the foundations for the growth and prosperity of the society can be provided by publishing divine teachings and values.”

This source of emulation further pointed out the significance of propagation and added, “The work of promoting Islam is a fundamental and great work; Promotion of Islamic teachings is the revival of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), which has an impact on the morals and behavior of the members of the society, especially the young generation. Therefore, in order to propagate and promote the teachings of Islam and the culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), people with appropriate abilities should be trained to properly carry out such mission.”

Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani also considered familiarity with the interpretations of the Qur'an and Nahj al-Balagha as one of the most important needs of missionaries and stated, “Religious missionaries must have a very close relationship with Nahj al-Balagha. This senior Shia scholar went on to point out that good manners and humbleness towards people serve as important factors in attracting people to Islamic teachings and added, “Just as words and phrases in the holy Qur'an and Ahl al-Bayt narrations have meanings that guide people toward felicity, a missionary’s good manners which is based on the life of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and the culture of Qur'an, it will lead people towards felicity and its influence is greater than just merely speaking about those values.”

It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Nazari Monfared , Head of the Islamic Propagation Office presented a report on the ongoing activities of the Islamic Propaganda Organization of Qom Seminary.
