Hawzah News Agency –Hojatoleslam Ahmad Marvi, talking about the potentials of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in introducing religious and Quranic potentials abroad, said Iran’s cultural attaches are in fact the ambassadors of the Holy Razavi Shrine across the world.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Hojatoleslam Mohammad Mahdi Imanipour, the head ICRO, during his visit to the holy city of Mashhad, met with Hojatoleslam Ahmad Marvi, the custodian of Astan Quds Razavi (the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

Hojatoleslam Imanipour referred to the role and developments of ICRO in the field of cultural diplomacy with regard to the approaches of the new government and recalled the Supreme Leader’s instructions regarding revolutionary overhaul of the cultural structures.

He called the reading of the Supreme Leader’s advices on the main mission of the organization in the new era and said we will create cohesion between the governmental institutions and entities of the Islamic Republic of Iran that are active in the cultural field, in the form of the Coordination Council for International Cultural Activities and Affairs. The Holy Republic of the Islamic Republic should be properly introduced abroad.

Hojatoleslam Marvi, congratulated Hojatoleslam Imanipour on his appointment as the head of ICRO, emphasizing that there should be motivation for cultural work.

He called for the expansion of cooperation between the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and Astan Quds Razavi and said in the distant past, Astan Quds sent ambassadors to some countries whose main activities were cultural, religious and epistemological. Today, cultural attaches can be ambassadors of Astan Quds are all over the world.

The need for planning the organization to develop pilgrimage diplomacy, preparing the organization for the international presence of Astan Quds in special programs and events, trying to develop Astan Quds academic interactions, introducing Imam Reza (AS) with the language of art and introducing international activists and servants to Astan Quds were some of the other points raised in this meeting.
