The Center for African Studies holds a research symposium on African affairs

The Center for African Studies of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's Holy Shrine organized a specialized research symposium.

Hawzah News Agency –The Center for African Studies of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's Holy Shrine organized a specialized research symposium on African affairs, which took place in the hall of the al-Murtadha Cultural Center of the Holy Shrine in the holy city of Najaf, in the presence of a number of African religious science students and a group of specialists and interested academics and researchers in African affairs.
The Director of the Center, Sheikh Saad al-Shammari, told Al-Kafeel Network, "This symposium is one of a series of symposia that the Center has been working on, and it was entitled: (The National Movement in Africa...Kenya and the Maoma Movement as a Model), and it was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sinan Sadiq Hussein from Al-Mustansiriya University, and Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan al-Sudani, Professor of African History at the University of Baghdad/College of Arts, lectured in it, presenting several axes that dealt with the goals of this movement, its origins, the factors that helped establish it, and other matters that pertain to the focus of the symposium."
He added, "The symposium witnessed extensive discussions that affected the general atmosphere of the symposium, by African researchers, professors and students."
The symposium was concluded by honoring the lecturer and the attendees participating in the symposium. The attendees praised the importance of this symposium, because of its great contributions to scientific research in African affairs.
