A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine performed a surgery to fix two leg fractures for a patient in his fifties.

Hawzah News Agency –A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine performed a surgery to fix two leg fractures for a patient in his fifties, using the modern blinding technique, while confirming that the patient was able to stand and walk 24 hours after the operation.
The specialist in orthopedics, fractures and joints at the hospital, Dr. Ahmed Ni'mah al-Ta'i, "We recently performed an operation to stabilize the tibia for a patient in his fifties, who was injured as a result of a fall, and radiological examinations revealed fractures in the two bones."
Al-Ta'i added, "We used the technique of closed blinds in this operation, which is the latest technology to treat bone fractures, and is carried out through an opening that does not exceed five centimeters, and it is a different method from others that are performed with a large surgical opening."
And he indicated that "this type of technique reduces the time of physical therapy after the operation, so that after 24 hours, the patient can stand and walk, and quickly return to the normal daily life."
