Hawzah News Agency –The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched a campaign to rehabilitate and maintain school seats in a number of schools in the Karbala Governorate in coordination with the Directorate of Education and School Administrations, as a contribution to supporting the educational reality in the province and providing an appropriate study atmosphere for students.
Head of the Engineering Maintenance and Construction Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Eng. Samir Abbas told Al-Kafeel Network: "Based on a directive from the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine, the staff of our department has started on a campaign to repair and rehabilitate old classrooms' seats, especially in schools with high numbers of students".
He added, "These works are part of a series of works that included several joints of schools, in order to contribute to the advancement of the educational institution."
Abbas indicated that "the first step of the work, in which a group of technicians from the Carpentry and Blacksmithing Division participated, was to prepare a site report and write down the needs, after which the rehabilitation and maintenance work would be carried out in the field. The first part of this campaign included the rehabilitation of more than (150) seats and making them ready to use."
For their part, the directors of the governorate's schools expressed their thanks and gratitude to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for this valuable initiative to serve their students, praying for their success.
