Among the manufacturing parts that have been completed recently, is the poetic craved frieze, which is located on top of the knotworks, and it is one of two inscription bands as the grid contains a previously completed Qur’anic band, and a poetic one, separated by a decorative part.

The head of the department of manufacturing grids and doors of the holy shrines at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Mr. Nadhem al-Ghurabi, told Al-Kafeel Network: "The poetic band consists of (28) pieces that surround the grid on its four sides, with two pieces above each knotwork, on which are written the rows of the poem of the poet Ali al-Saffar al-Karbala'i, by the master of Arabic calligraphy, Dr. Rawdhan Bahia, in the thuluth script."

Al-Ghurabi continued: "Each piece of the poetic carved frieze is 5mm thick, 16cm high and 30cm long. The calligraphy will be colored with pure gold and its base is green enamel."

He concluded: "The band, like the rest of the parts, has the advantage of the installation method that is a technical and modern method, as it is hidden and makes it appear with the rest of the parts as one piece with each other on the one hand, and with the other parts of the grid on the other hand."

It is mentioned that the works of the grid of the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) are carried out according to a work plan drawn up for this purpose, and its executive joints are distributed according to the design prepared on most of its parts and pieces, whether they are metal or wood, and any part that is completed by installing it on the wooden structure.
