Hawzah News Agency - Mosques have been closed in Turkmenistan temporarily. Such decision was made under the government's action plan for acute infectious diseases preparedness.

Mosques will remain closed until July 23, arzuw.news reported with reference to Turkmenistan's Mufti Office.

WHO mission earlier recommended the government adopt key measures like those in case of COVID-19 circulation in the country.
