Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Seyyed Hossein Momeni, speaking at the "Migrant of Truth" conference held at Salman al-Farsi Mosque in Qom to commemorate the esteemed companion, declared: "In his quest for truth, Salman al-Farsi endured immense hardships and suffering. He journeyed for long years on the path of recognizing the Truth until he was ultimately honored with embracing Islam."
The Qom seminary instructor added: "This arduous path reflects the truth-seeking spirit of Salman al-Farsi, and it is precisely this characteristic that elevated him to become one of the most distinguished figures in Islamic history."
Hojatoleslam Momeni stated that after accepting Islam, Salman attained a privileged station in the eyes of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), consistently recognized as a loyal companion, a trusted advisor, and a steadfast defender of the Wilayah of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (PBUH). "What immortalized Salman al-Farsi in Islamic history," he stressed, "was not merely the record of his presence alongside the Prophet (PBUH); rather, it was his fidelity to Wilayah and his steadfastness on the path of truth that transformed his character into an unparalleled model for Muslims."
He continued: "Salman al-Farsi stands as a paragon of loyalty to Wilayah within the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT). His lofty station is the result of years of struggle in the path of truth and adherence to the principle of Guardianship. The life of this great companion of the Prophet (PBUH) demonstrates that reaching the highest spiritual and social ranks is achievable under the shadow of faith, insight, and fidelity to Wilayah."
Momeni emphasized that the conduct of Salman al-Farsi serves as a luminous model for all generations, particularly the youth, on the path of truth-seeking, resilience, and commitment to religious values.
In another segment of his address, the scholar cited a research study conducted by a U.S.-based academic institution, stating: "In this study, Iran, alongside the United States, Russia, and China, is identified as one of the nations possessing the capacity to navigate the current complex and challenging global circumstances."
The Qom seminary instructor continued: "According to an academic expert who has reviewed this research, the deeply rooted religious convictions and core beliefs of the Iranian people are among the most critical factors underpinning this capability and power of resistance. Any society fortified by a robust foundation of faith will possess a heightened capacity to withstand threats and overcome crises."
