Hawzah News Agency- Professor Munawar Abbas, President the Association of Government Colleges in Pakistan made some remarks at the fifth International Webinar called the Islamic Republic of Iran; the Front for Dignity in the Face of Zionist Regime, organized by the World Assembly of Qademoun, during which he highlighted the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in regional and Islamic world equations.
Professor Munawar Abbas, referring to Iran’s role in defending the Islamic Ummah, said,” The Islamic Republic of Iran is not only recognized as standard-bearer of dignity in the region, but throughout the world, and has consistently pursued support of Palestine since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution.”
He referred to recent threats by the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran, emphasizing that the main goal of these threats is to change the regime and destroy Iran's nuclear and missile programs, but the recent 12-day war showed that these goals will never be achieved.”
The President of the Association of Government Colleges in Pakistan further noted,” Despite widespread political pressures and economic sanctions, Iran enjoys high internal cohesion, and the people stand firmly behind government.”
He also noted that military actions against Iran not only cannot weaken the country, but also exposed the weakness and vulnerability of the Zionist regime; a regime that was introduced as symbol of fear and deterrence, confused in the face of Iran and forced the United States to pressure the operation to stop.
In conclusion, Professor Munawar Abbas emphasized,” Iran, by adhering to Islamic principles and supporting resistance, has provided a practical model for the world, and any military action against it will only result in increasing instability and crisis in the region.”
