Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim, from his father, from Ibn Abi Umayr, from Muhammad ibn Himran, from Sa’id ibn Yasar who said: Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said to me:
هَلِ الدِّينُ إِلَّا الْحُبُّ؟ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ: قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Is the religion anything but love? Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says:
‘Say: If you truly love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. And Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.’
