Hawzah News Agency- In a message issued on the occasion, the senior Shia cleric expressed sympathy with Ayatollah Ashrafi Shahroudi and his family, praying for the late scholar’s spouse to be granted divine mercy and an exalted place in the hereafter.
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful — Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return,” Grand Ayatollah Sistani said in his message.
He prayed that Ayatollah Ashrafi Shahroudi and his family remain under the care and blessings of the Imam of the Age (may Allah hasten his reappearance), and that God bestow patience and great reward upon the bereaved.
The message concluded with prayers for the forgiveness and eternal dignity of the departed.
