Aban 13th: The Path of Nations’ Awakening Against Global Arrogance

The socio-political director of the Cultural and Propaganda Department of Khorasan Seminary says Aban 13th (November 4) is not merely a historical date, but a continuing path of resistance and awakening against global arrogance.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking to Hawzah News Agency in Mashhad, Hojatoleslam Khanali Ebrahimi said that nations around the world are now realizing the true nature of Western domination and are standing up against oppression and deceit.

“Those who were deceived for years by the Western media now see clearly that America remains the enemy of nations — the same arrogance that backed the Shah of Iran yesterday and defends Zionism today,” he said.

Ebrahimi noted that the growing anti-Zionist demonstrations in Europe and the United States are a reflection of this global awakening. “The slogans in the streets of Western capitals show that the Iranian nations’ awakening, which began on Aban 13th, continues,” he added.

Referring to the 12-day confrontation between Iran and the Zionist regime, he said the event proved Iran’s deterrence was no longer limited to words. “Iran showed that it defends its security and will not allow the Zionist regime to dominate the region. The 12-day war sent a clear message — the era of fearing global arrogance is over.”

He emphasized that Washington’s continued military and media support for Tel Aviv once again revealed its unchanged hostility toward the Iranian nation, albeit in a modern form through sanctions and cognitive warfare.

Ebrahimi called on the younger generation to view Aban 13th as a roadmap, not a memory, stressing that independence and honor are achieved through resistance, not compromise.

Highlighting the role of the clergy, he said the seminaries must lead the effort to “clarify the facts, counter hostile media narratives, and instill hope and faith in the youth.”

“The enemy has entered a war of despair against Iranian youth. The seminary must respond by reviving hope and confidence, showing the reality of Iran’s progress and resilience,” he said, adding that hope itself is a form of resistance.

He concluded that the Islamic Revolution is the legacy of countless martyrs and that the awakening of nations — which began in Iran — now echoes across the world. “Continuing this path means continuing Aban 13 until the flag of justice is raised globally,” Ebrahimi said.
