Hawzah News Agency- In a meeting with sheikhs, elders, and tribal chiefs from Odawa, Birnin Gwari, and Shado in Abuja, Sheikh Zakzaky warned that terrorist and Takfiri groups operating in northern Nigeria are part of a wider conspiracy to seize the region’s natural wealth.
He said enemies first attempted to erode local culture and identity, and when that failed, turned to violence and forced migration to take control of the area’s vast mineral and economic resources.
Describing the situation in the north as “difficult but not hopeless,” Zakzaky called for patience, resilience, and reliance on divine support. “Oppression will not last forever,” he said. “With faith and steadfastness, global peace and justice will prevail.”
