Speaking to Hawzah News Agency in Sanandaj, Hojatoleslam Masoud Mahmoudi underscored that the steadfastness and strategic insight of the Palestinian nation and Gaza’s fighters have thwarted the schemes of the United States, the Zionist regime, and their Western allies.
“Despite years of political and military pressure, the Resistance Axis continues to demonstrate strength, vitality, and unity,” Mahmoudi said, adding that the movement’s endurance at every critical juncture proves that it is not merely a political coalition but a deeply rooted Islamic ideology.
“The Resistance is not a single organization—it is a school of thought founded on faith, justice, and defiance of arrogance. Because of its divine essence, it cannot be defeated or destroyed,” he stressed.
Mahmoudi condemned the Zionist regime’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, noting that for nearly eight decades, the occupiers of Jerusalem have committed countless atrocities against Muslims in Palestine and Lebanon in an effort to extinguish the spirit of resistance. “Yet every act of aggression has produced the opposite result—the Resistance grows stronger,” he said.
He also criticized US-led efforts to fragment Gaza and undermine Palestinian sovereignty, saying that “the awareness and insight of the Palestinian people have blocked these plots, showing that the Resistance Axis has reached full political and strategic maturity.”
The seminary professor concluded that as long as the Resistance remains a living movement in the region, arrogant powers will fail in imposing their hegemonic agendas. “Even with the help of their regional allies, certain Arab-Islamic regimes, the Americans have not succeeded in weakening the Resistance front,” he said.
